I had never in my life had a fried pickle until I moved to Oklahoma. I had eaten Lays Dill Pickle chips a long time ago though so I figured they compared. So we ate at a restaurant here that served fried pickles and being a dill pickle lover I had to try them! I love them! So I was thinking today I really want a fried pickle but didn't feel like going to get some so I made my own. And you can too!
What you need:
Pickles
Bread crumbs
1 Egg
Oil

Start your oil in a sauce pan on the stove.
Beat the egg a little and pour the bread crumbs into a second bowl.
Then take a pickle out of the jar and place on a paper towel remove a little of the sodium.
Take the pickle and put it in the egg and cover both sides.

Next you want to put it in the bread crumbs and cover both sides. A little repetitive but so easy to do!
You want it to look like it does below.

Now do the step above a few times so you have several pickles ready to go.
Place a couple pickles into the hot oil.
To make sure your oil is hot place a wooden spoon and when tiny bubbles come from the spoon you know it is ready!

Finish the rest of the pickles and Enjoy!

These were so good and you could choose to bake them if you wanted I just didn't so I have no clue how long or at what temperature to cook them at.
