Rhyming Words Printable Cards

I decided to start working with Austin more on rhyming words a few weeks ago and knew if the pictures were fun he'd be more interested so I made up some cards to go with the words I came up with. To work on the activity I would lay down one card from each pair then he would say the word/picture for the card he was on then the others cards were to his side and he had to say each one to hear which one rhymed.

The cards include 6 rhyming keys and 12 cards total.
They also include the words under the pictures for practicing reading.

The rhymes are:
duck- truck
car- star
train- plane
dog- frog
tree- bee
bear- pear

He really has enjoyed these cards.

( If linking to this and want to use an image please use the image with the cards at the top of the post, not the one with my child. Thanks!)

Enjoy!

These are awesome! My kid loves them and the other kid I watch is ... well, learning them! :) I love that you have the word and the picture because these preschoolers don't read yet but hopefully by the end of the year, they'll be able to read the words on the cards!! Thank you so much!

thank you, thank you-these are great! I am going to put them on some large dice I have in my classroom and we roll the cubes to try to make a rhyme. Thanks for the great resource!
