Tot School- 10/11-10/15

(Dylan is 29 months)

This week our letter was A. So we started the week off with our letter builders.

He colored our bible verse for the week.

Played with our Lacing beads several times this week. Hes finally gotten the hang of it!

He also has gotten the idea of sorting the proper colors in there cups with our color bears! He kept looking at me and saying " Wheres this one go?" Of course he knew where he is just a joker!

We also made Apple Shakers! I printed our some apples and put glue on an old Crystal Light container and let him stick them on. Then we filled with rice and taped the lid on. We enjoyed our Apple Song from 1+1+1=1

 Shaking his Apple Shaker

We painted with Apples this week. He wasnt to thrilled with it once the paint got on his hands.

One afternoon he woke up before Austin did so I let him have free reign of our school area. He loved being able to choose what he could play with. He picked his number puzzle first.

He also picked our See n Spell puzzles and I was pleasantly surprised that he was able to find the letters and make the words.

He did a Do-A-Dot letter A.

He colored a Letter A and apple tree.
This is the first time I've seen him color things the proper colors! I was definitely impressed!

He did a Do-A-Dot apple.
I didn't realize we did so much this week! I was worried on Friday that he hadnt done enough but now I see we did plenty! He started potty training this weekend so that's why this post is so much later then usual.
So now I'm headed to go check out what others have done for Tot School this past week! You should check it out too at 1+1+1=1!

  2. I LOVE the do-a-dot stuff! Is it wrong that mommy wants to do some of those activities too?

    Great week!

  3. It is totally not wrong to want to do the activities either. I sneak in sometimes and do a little myself as well! Those Do A Dot markers are so fun!

  4. Looks like a fun week!

Good luck with potty training! My oldest was so easy. It took her just a couple of weeks shortly after she turned two. I'm not sure my current tot will ever train. She is so not interested. LOL
